For my SCA/NPS education and outreach internship this summer, me and my advisor were able to take a group of high schools (Youth Conservation Corps) on a week long orientation trip throughout some beautiful areas of Alaska. This included seeing Kenai Fjords National Park, a beautiful area that tells an important story about climate change. After leaving Kenai Fjords we went and camped out on the Homer Spit. This summer our team camped 75% of the time, and we wouldn't have wanted it any other way.
